About Adivasi College

Adivasi College, Balliguda is a pioneer educational institution of Kandhamal district. The foundation stone was laid by Late Sri Natabar Pradhan, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister, Works, Transport, Forests, Fisheries, and Animal Husbandries, Govt. of Orissa on 30.08.1979. On the same day admission of students into the college was inaugurated by Late Sri Birabhadra Singh, Minister of state Tribal and Rural Welfare, Govt. of, Orissa, and as such it came into existence.

Affiliation & Accreditation

It is affiliated to Berhampur University and recognized by the Dept. of Higher Education, Govt. of Odisha. The college has been accreditated as C+ category institution by NAAC in the year 2007. The college is also registered under 2(f) & 12(b) of UGC and receives grants on different heads.
